Ruthie made him a special breakfast...
I'm taking him out to lunch, because it's tradition. Just a mom/birthday-kid date thing. Got to get the stuff for lasagna and chocolate cherry cake, along with mint chocolate chip ice cream (all my favorites, too, by the way) while some of the other kids are going shopping at their favorite store, Dollar General. He said he wants a "candy stash" and that's really the only thing he could think of. And maybe some art supplies.
What an easy kid, right? He's the most gentle, kind little boy. Easy as pie. Nope, easier! He was the last born of seven for four whole years until Ben came along. Now he's just one of the pack.
He said he wants to be an artist when he grows up. I believe that. There's several in the family. It's funny because his dad is a computer expert who used to be a helicopter test pilot and a military captain. But that's what he gets for marrying me, right? God has a sense of humor.
love everything about this awesome, talented, sweet loving boy :)
